• Candidate will be required to resolve network & hardware problems.
• Should know about Installation & Configuration Windows 2000 server, Active directory, Security, ISA Server and mail servers.
• Performing system administration tasks e.g install software, tune operating system, configure RAID arrays, audit security, trouble shoot system problems to effective resolution.
• Research and installation of software and systems.
• Installation and configuration of operating systems and software on workstations and servers in office.
• Providing backup support for the LAN administrator and Unix administrator.

Skills required for this position:

• Windows 2000 Server, ISA Server for windows 2000 and hardware.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Sun Solaris and Windows systems in a networked environment.
• Ability to locate and comprehend technical documents related to problems encountered.
• Experience with data backup.
• Experience with email server software (Send mail, Postfix or similar).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Experience with Apache.
• Experience with PostgreSQL an asset.
• Experience with BIND.
• System Administration Active Directory/SQL/Exchange/IIS/DNS/DHCP.
• Encryption.
• Public, private, symmetric and secret keys.
• Technically updated and strong Internet search skills.

Suitable profile for this position:

• Minimum of BS degree and technical area required.
• 2 years of experience.
