• Design, develop, and maintain database components of web applications as part of a structured Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
• Create database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, packages, triggers, indexes, and functions
• Optimize and tune database objects
• Analyze requirements and work with application developers and analysts on web-based applications
• Work with analysts to develop and implement unit and system testing processes
• Create system and user documentation for new and existing applications

Other Responsibilities:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2+ years database programming experience including tables, views, stored procedures, packages, triggers, indexes, and functions
• 2+ years database development experience with (in order of preference) MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Must be willing to join at a short notice Must be open to a short term contract position
