Respiratory Therapy Technician (Abu Dhabi)

Our client, a government tertiary hospital in UAE is in need of Respiratory Therapy Technician.
Duties would include providing respiratory care to patients with emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia and other respiratory diseases, providing well-defined therapeutic technique under the supervision of a respiratory therapist and a physician, preparing equipments such as mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, aerosol generators and EKG machines, monitoring patients during treatment and reporting any unusual reactions to the respiratory therapist.
An ideal candidate must have an Associate degree or equivalent diploma (not less than 2 years curriculum), Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Therapist Care (USA) OR the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT).
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and experience of not less than 2 years as a Respiratory Therapy Technicians are required.
