Quantity Surveyor is required, with knowledge in technical specifications and interpretation of drawings, quantity take-off, floating inquiries, follow-up and evaluation of quotations, preparing comparative statements and familiar with pre-tender and post-tender activities, FIDIC and evaluation of claims and variations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the Loss and Expense Claim Report due to the prolongation / Project Extension Period.
• Prepare the final measurement and Cost Report / Final Account.
• Prepare monthly Job Status Report showing the cost over run / under run for the information of the Finance and Project Manager.
• Check and endorsed the Project Material Requisition (Material, Manpower, Equipment) and sees to it that it is within the Budget.
• Check and endorse Subcontractors Payment, Purchase Orders , Work Order. Monitoring and recording (Variation Register) of Variation Orders and sees to it that the cost and time implication to the project is reported to the Management for immediate action.
• Prepare monthly cost report of Variation Orders (Valuation) and compare it with the actual cost.
• Prepare monthly Resource Report ( Material, Manpower, Equipment) showing the variance between the planned and actual.

Qualification: Diploma In Engineering

Specific Skills: The candidate shall be a civil/Mechanical engineer with 5 to 8 years, preferably local, experience as Quantity Surveyor.
