TT Field AP1000 NI – Project Management.

NI Scope PROJECT MANAGEMENT Work Package title:

1 - REPORTS TO: Procurement/Contracts Manager

2 – QUALIFICATION:

  • Shall be familiar with the general design of nuclear power plants
  • Shall have experience operating and/or working on nuclear power plants.
  • Shall have experience working on EPC projects.
  • Shall have experience managing and interfacing with multidiscipline design teams.
  • Shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent.
  • Shall have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

3 – RELATED SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, DOCUMENTS AND PROCEDURES:

a. Related Software Programs to be used:

  • Microsoft Word.
  • Microsoft Excel.
  • Microsoft Outlook, or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Power Point.
  • Documentum.

b. Related Software Programs to be familiar with:

  • Marian, or equivalent.
  • Primavera, P3 or P3e or equivalent as applicable.

4 - RELATED TRAINING:

  • Primavera, P3 or P3e or equivalent as applicable
  • Marian, or equivalent

5 - FUNCTIONS: (the detail work activities assigned )

  • Responsible for oversight of all NI purchasing activities
  • Reviews NI purchasing activities to ensure that they are occurring as needed to Confidential & Proprietary Page 1 of 2 Stone & Webster Asia, Inc. © AP1000 China Self Reliance Projects support the schedule.
  • Reviews purchases to ensure that they are in accordance with the contract and to identify change orders.
  • Monitors schedule to identify trends and takes proactive measures to maintain progress.
  • Monitors costs to identify trends and takes proactive measures to control costs.
  • Determines preferred suppliers for cases where there are multiple options.
  • Ensures QA Program and Procedures are being followed
  • Reviews Site organizations to ensure that staffing levels are adequate to support the schedule.
  • Manages Buyers.
  • Audits the activities of Site purchasing staff.
  • Audits Site system specifications/specification input depending on scope of work.
  • Audits vendor submittals.

6 - JOB STARTING DATE: ATP.

7 - JOB DURATION TIME: 70 months.

8 - SELF RELIANCE OBJECTIVE:

Works under the supervision of the Procurement/Contracts Manager to ensure that purchasing activities executed by the project personnel are done in accordance with good commercial practice and with project procedures and applicable regulations, codes and standards.
