Project Manager Required (Saudi Arabia)

This candidate will work under the guidance of the IT Head and will be responsible for the entire life-cycle of the assigned project from project inception through to final delivery.

The candidate will be expected to follow the agreed on project management methodology, develop detailed project plan and ensure that it is communicated to all stakeholders.

Main Roles/Responsibilities:

  1. Identify client needs and evaluate business solutions.

  2. Monitoring and managing project through all phases: Initiation, Planning, Executing, Controlling & Closing, per the enforced standard policies and procedures.

  3. Propose solutions to problems, considering timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing client needs.

  4. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.

  5. Lead and manage communication with the customers, superiors, and other stakeholders.

  6. Identify resources needed for projects and work with other project managers to assign tasks.

  7. Assign work packages to team members and evaluate team performance throughout the project life cycle.

  8. Define risks and issues early on in the project and throughout project life cycle.

  9. Define critical success factors and deliverables of the project.

  10. Monitor the quality of work performed in coordination with QA.

  11. Documentation and archiving of all project related work (client business processes, requirements and use cases, project records, documents, updates, deliverables, communication, etc…).

  12. Ownership of organizing large-scale, highly visible projects and programs.

  13. Continuous improvement of Project Management processes, procedures & templates.

  14. Ensure that all necessary approvals have been obtained and are logged in the appropriate repository for the account.

  15. Liaise with the project sponsor / customer representative regarding project objectives, deliverables and timescales.

  16. Developing Project Definition Workshop output into detailed Project Definition Report.

  17. Manage the project closure process.

  18. Understanding of Infrastructure, Networks, Servers

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field Certifications:PMI Certification is a must.

Skills: Candidate should have superior skills in each of the following areas: Have experience with using project management tools such as MS project.Other Competencies:

  • Must have experience on managing Oracle Apps (ERP) implementation project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools.
  • Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

No. of Year Experience: 7+ years of experience in Information Technology field, with at least 3 years in a Project management or leadership role.

Platforms: HP Unix, Windows Server.
