The Ideal candidates would have a Bachelor’s Degree and are qualified Certified Chartered Accountant/Certified Management Accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) with 3-5 years experience in cost Control / Management Accountant role is essential.
The Project Cost Controller role will act as a primary focus for project cost estimating tracking and analysis.
He/ She will be responsible for cost management functions e.g. budgets.
Expenditures, reporting forecasts and cash flow for one or more projects duties will include but not limited to the following.
Assist in preparing of project cost estimate of resources and other expenses through discussions with functional leaders in a timely manner using generic cost structure, which is suitable for cost tracking in the project life cycle.
Develop and generate periodical project cost reports for each project monitoring the progress of the project.
Perform cost analysis and advise project leaders on cost over-runs in timely manner so the corrective actions can be taken.
Well-developed skills in MS Office suite in order to create well structured documents, spreadsheets, presentations, proposals and other documents.
Proven presentations, communication and interpersonal skills.
Both verbal and wrotten, including the confidence and ability to present information effectively to any audience including clients, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
