Staff is required for newly created Abbottabad office of a small Canadian development company.

The Positions available:

Senior Developer:- The Senior Developer will be the lead developer for our Abbottabad office, responsible for all aspects of designing, developing, testing, documenting, and deploying custom applications on behalf of the company or of our clients. You will also be our technical lead, overseeing project scheduling, task assignments, unit testing, and quality assurance, as well as coordinating with any staff hired for short-term projects.

Skills: - Must have extensive experience with developing database applications in VB 6.0, using MS-Access (Jet 4.0) as the back-end. - Familiar with building LAN-enabled database applications. - Familiar with source code version control software (such as Subversion). - Experience with .NET (especially C#), web development (especially PHP and MySQL), web design, and interfaces to telephony would be an asset, Project management skills are an asset. - Must work well with others, be extremely well organized, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be reliable, and be able to work independently. - Must be able to multi-task multiple projects / tasks simultaneously.

Entry-Level Programmer / Web Developer:- - Must have experience developing database applications in VB 6.0. - Experience with .NET, web development, and web design would be an asset. - Must work well with others, be reliable, and be able to meet deadlines.

Contracted Positions:- Programmers / Web Developers required to handle software development and web design / development for its North American clients. We require software developers, web developers, web designers, and graphic artists on a project-by-project basis with skills including VB 6.0, MS-Access, .NET, Java, PHP, Graphic design, Web design, C++, or SQL Server.

Ability to read and write English is a must but speaking is an asset.

Depending on client requirements, there may be opportunities to work in Canada. Ability / willingness to travel would be an asset.
