Principal Engineer-Risk & Safety Design (Sharjah)

Responsibilities:

Review the ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents submitted in the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial vendor offers, prepare equipment, material and man-hour estimates.

Coordinate with projects and planning on project time schedules, establish target completion dates, ensure target dates are achieved. Coordinate with 3rd party consultants on safety and environmental studies, assess impact of HSE studies on Engineering, coordinate with other engineering disciplines for close out of commendations from HSE Studies.

Provide input for package emissions/noise requirements in compliance with local Environmental regulations.

Manage the preparation of HSE safety designs and philosophies, including HAZOP & HAZID analysis and reports, shutdown and blow down philosophies, fire proofing requirements, site environmental and metallurgy data, Consequence Analysis Reports, Fire and Explosion Reports, Risk assessment Reports, Emergency Evacuation analysis, Flare radiation analysis, noise studies and other risk assessment reports.
