Packet Switch Core Network Integration Engineer functional role is associated with Integration Engineer, Core (2G, 3G) and required Ericsson equipment experience.

Requirements:

• Data communication knowledge (CCNA is an advantage).
• Excellent experience in E/// GPRS nodes, and good knowledge of GSM/UMTS protocols and Ericsson CS (Circuit Switch) nodes.
• Basic Telecom knowledge (MSS, BSC/RNC).
• Experience in MPBN solutions, experience in UNIX System Administration and UNIX Applications Supply and Support is an advantage.
• Good command of English language, oral and written. Arabic is a plus.
• University Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, integrate, Start up and test of E/// Packet Switch nodes (SGSN, GGSN, CGSN) and document the solution delivered to the customer. The solution can consist of software, hardware, documentation, processes and organizational changes.
• Perform implementation, integration and acceptance of the new telecommunication equipment.
• Problem solving, system tuning, software upgrades, fault localization & remedy and any other integration activities.
