Oracle Techno-Functional Requirement (USA)

General Oracle and Technical Skills required
- Fundamental understanding of Oracle objects and how to interpret data related to them via the data dictionary.
- Understanding of code related objects such as stored procedures, triggers, packages, etc.
- Some understanding of Oracle performance tuning. Not an area of focus but the basics are required.
- Understanding of Oracle security, especially as to how it relates to 11i implementations.
- Basic UNIX skills are assumed.
- Sql *Plus skill level should be very high.
- Extensive PL/SQL development experience.
- Solid understanding of OM and other applications from a functional perspective.
- We are looking for candidates with both strong developer and functional skills.
Applications skills essential/required - Must have experience in a late-release 11i environment from a strong functional knowledge perspective. - Experience with applications patching a plus. - Experience with Oracle Apps to a level of detail is essential, from a functional perspective. - Applicant should be well versed in the Oracle 11i applications suite, release 11.5.8 or greater, with special emphasis on the following areas: - Order Management (Strong emphasis on Order Management). - Bills of Material. - Configurator (Selectica exposure a plus). - Shipping. - Inventory. - Applicant should also have had exposure to setups and seed data for all of the above, especially Order Management. - He or she should have experience in a high transaction volume OLTP environment, preferably in a service oriented implementation. - Experience as an Oracle developer AND business analyst is highly preferred, with the focus area being Order Management. - Exposure to Java tools is a plus. - Applications performance tuning experience is a plus. - Familiarity with Oracle Support procedures and tools is essential.
Other skills required - Experience in a large, process oriented environment. - Must be will to take the initiative on tasks and not rely on day-to-day supervision.
