- Oracle Programmer Analyst:
The Programmer Analyst function is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems, and revises or develops computer programs, systems and related procedures to process data.
- This person prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis, and submits recommendations for solution.
- The Programmer Analyst also prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding logic flowcharts.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in MIS or CS or Software Engineering required.
- Candidates must possess 5+ years of increasingly responsible professional experience. Experience in data modeling and database design using tools like ERWIN are required.
Strong knowledge is needed in Oracle Database Environment. Candidates will also need strong skills in PL/SQL to write basic and complex SQL queries in Oracle.
Oracle DBA 1:
We are looking for an Oracle Database administrator who will provide leadership for the design, development, testing, implementation and support of Oracle based technologies, including Oracle Developer Forms, Reports and Discoverer and the Degree Audit Reporting System.
- The Administrator will work closely with database and system administrators, internal and external customers and project teams to define and meet business, technical, and functional requirements in a highly available, mission critical database environment.
- This position will play a key role in providing the infrastructure, Tools, and procedures for effective information management.
Skills required:
- An Associate’s degree in a computer-related field with additional documented computer coursework; a Bachelor’s degree preferred and Oracle certification is highly desirable.
- Seasoned Oracle database administrator with five to seven years of full-time employment experience in administration, development, design, and support of production grade high availability database systems; hands-on experience with Oracle technologies and successful deployments.
- Design, development, and administration skills on a variety of UNIX and Linux platforms and in-depth knowledge of those operating systems.
- Excellent programming skills including: SQL, SQL-Plus, PL/SQL, and scripting languages such as Shell, Perl etc.
- SQL Loader/Data Pump and Oracle’s diagnostic and tuning-packs experience.
- Oracle Application Server and Oracle Discoverer installation, configuration, and administration experience; UNIX/Linux storage administration using RAID arrays and database backup/recovery using tools such as Veritas Netbackup, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and RMAN
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, follow priorities and meet deadlines and retain a willingness to adequately document all work performed; ability to provide customer service in a courteous, and professional manner.
- Ability to work effectively with end-users to gain their confidence, understand their technical and operational needs and transfer them into viable technical solutions and trainings.

Oracle DBA 2:
The Oracle Database Administrator will take a lead role in supporting and managing a complex system of production databases with a focus on high performance, reliability, integrity and recoverability. The DBA will work and communicate well with other database and system administrators, internal and external customers and project teams to meet business availability and performance requirements in a mission critical database environment.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include: Production Support of existing Oracle Databases; Reviewing existing database file layout and recommend enhancements, Designing and Monitoring Backup and Recovery Procedures, Developing and maintaining documentation for ongoing database maintenance.
For the Sr. Project DBA there will be an emphasis on PL/SQL and Data Modeling.
Successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to thrive in a team environment and motivate individuals inside and outside of the Database Administration Organization to complete work. Candidates must also have at least 5 solid years of Oracle DBA experience with Oracle 8, 9 and ideally 10g.
Experience:
Working with Windows 2003 is also required. Candidates should have Earned a Bachelors degree from an accredited 4 year University or demonstrate a combination of experience and education to be considered for this position.
- PeopleSoft / Oracle DBA:
Under general supervision of the Database Support/Performance Manager, the PeopleSoft Oracle DBA will be responsible for all facets of oracle systems administration and management.
- Work with the function teams, technical teams and consultants to gain an understanding of the database needs/requirements.
- Provide oversight for administration of the Oracle databases and ensuring that quality and standards meet defined expectations. Index/tune/sizing of all Oracle databases for CMS project.
- Will perform SQL tuning, debugging, PL/SQL development and will advise other DBAs of tuning and other administrative activities required. Will coordinate/apply Oracle updates, fixes and upgrades with HOSS/Data Center DBAs.
- Will advice Oracle DBAs on tuning efforts, and database copies among others duties.
- Will coordinate development efforts with technical leads as necessary. Support organization with ongoing implementations, upgrades for PeopleSoft applications.
- Will be responsible for working with internal and external organization, including software vendors such as PeopleSoft, other CMS resources (technical developers and/or DBAs) and the data center DBAs.
This position requires bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have the following clearly Demonstrated skills: min. 6+ years experience as an Oracle database administrator on Unix; 6 years of experience with Oracle 8i and/or 9i.
- Expert in PeopleSoft (Oracle) 8.x Administration such as file system management, directory management, and security; 6 yrs of database and PeopleSoft application tuning; experience with Oracle Streams and/or DataGard.
- Database administration/ support in large-scale, multi-instance Production environment; administration/ support of RMAN.
- Hands on experience with application of patches and upgrades of Oracle.
- Proficient in PL/SQL; ability to translate. Needs analysis data into technical designs.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills; and good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills necessary to work effectively with a wide variety of management, staff and outside vendors.
PeopleSoft/Oracle/ JD Edwards Consultant:
We are currently seeking Senior Consultant level candidates. Required Skills include:
- Strong background in controls re-engineering, application security implementation, distributed system recovery, distributed systems administration, database administration in security auditing techniques and/or computer control environments.
- Implementation experience on one or more of Peoplesoft, Oracle , JD Edwards, or SAP applications. Security and controls implementation experience a plus.
- Sarbanes-Oxley readiness or attestation experience.
- Business Warehouse application security implementation.
- Understanding segregation of duty concerns with respect to application security implementations.
- Knowledge and understanding of Peoplesoft, Oracle, JD Edwards, or SAP Administration and maintenance.
- Building Peoplesoft, Oracle, JD Edwards, or SAP application security and internal controls.
- BA/BS in information technology, accounting or related field, MS preferred - CPA, CISSP, CCNA and/or CISM, CISA certification a plus - 3+ years related experience.
- Prior Big 4 audit and / or consulting experience preferred.
- Excellent technical, analytical, interpersonal, communication, and management skills.
- Industry Experiences in financial services, high-tech, consumer products, Manufacturing and/or healthcare preferred.
