Oracle ERP Techno Functional Consultant Required (Saudi Arabia)

This candidate will work under the guidance of the Head of IT to provide comprehensive implementation services for Oracle’s ERP suite (Human Resources & Financial Modules).

The successful candidate will conduct Oracle ERP Apps implementation and development activities (such as system design & analysis, programming, testing and documentation) under the complete System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Moreover, also act as a project manager, monitor and control the project progress during the implementation as well as to lead implementation teams in meeting our business requirements.

Main Roles/Responsibilities:

  1. Defining, architecting the environment for eBusiness applications.
  2. Process analysis; process design, mapping, and re-engineering; process/software gap analysis and resolution.
  3. Troubleshooting and issue resolution with Oracle Applications modules, configuration and training/assisting users.
  4. Design review of Oracle Applications data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications. Design of Reporting solution, account security, cross validation rules and Functional setup documentation.
  5. Support and manage the Production environment after go live.

Qualification: Academic:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field Certifications:Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - desired.

Skills: Candidate should have superior skills in each of the following areas:

  1. Proficiency in Oracle Database and development tools (Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Discoverer).

  2. Proficiency with the functionality of the following Oracle Financial ERP modules: General Ledger, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Global accounting engine, iProcurement, Purchasing, Discoverer, iExpenses, Client ADI, Web ADI.

  3. Hands-on development and production environment experience with Oracle ERP Projects (Financials and HR Modules).

  4. Java experience, preferred Other Competencies:

  5. Experience in functional / technical areas of Oracle.

  6. Effective written and verbal communication skills with both the users and technical staff.

  7. Production of functional specifications from user requirements.

  8. Planning and organisational skills.

  9. Understanding of Financial Principles.

  10. Self motivated and able to work proactively with minimal supervision.

  11. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  12. Good command of English, both written and spoken.

No. of Year Experience: A proven functional/technical professional with at least two+ full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials & HRMS implementation.

Platforms: HP Unix, Windows Server.
