Vam Systems is currently looking for Network Support Engineer for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill Set required:

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of Networks
• To install, configure and maintain Networking Devices.
• End User Support
• To function as first line Network support.
• To perform first line support for all systems and ensure that corrective action is taken.
• To Configure and troubleshoot Switches, Routers, Firewalls, IP Telephony Call Manager, IP Telephones
• To install and trouble shoot Network management software tools.
• To administer all the Network Products.
• Create, Maintain, Verify Configuration Backup and Test Restores. Ensure Recoverability and security of backup media, (Send to offsite)

Documentation / Process Ownership

The incumbent is responsible to take ownership, maintain & update documented processes or documentation related to his job function. In the event where processes or documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible to inform the owner of any document about required changes or improvements.

• Setup Basic Network LAN and Internet Connectivity, Patching , Cabling , Labelling.
• Adhere to Asset Management and other basic standards.
• Support Basic Exchange 2007 Mail Server and other Infrastructure integration.
• Failure Recovery Plans.

Knowledge:

• Installation and trouble shooting of Network Systems and Applications.
• Installation and trouble shooting of Networks and Network Devices.

Qualifications:

• Graduation in Technical field. (B. Sc / BE / Diploma / Higher Diploma)
• Hardware Certifications (A+ / Computer Hardware basics)
• Microsoft Certifications (MCP / MCSE / MCSD)
• Networking Certifications (N+ / CCNA / Basic Networking courses)
• Service Oriented Certifications ( ITIL Foundation / Help Desk training)
