A Network Architect is required to work for our major client in Abu Dhabi.

The succesful network architects roles and responsibilities will include:

• Complete high level design and documentation
• Follow Systems Assurance review process for design work requiring Systems Assurance.
• Your objective is to solution at a logical and conceptual level.

In this role you work in and with project teams where you’re responsible for creation of the architecture and high level designs. Part of your work is to coach and guide subject matter experts. You communicate at local and regional level with direct colleagues in the team, with other disciplines and capabilities and with our customers, talking, listening and consulting.

Design and produce technically competent build components consistent with the target infrastructure and following the agreed processes, procedures, security requirements, and customer requirements. Document all builds, tools, and processes undertaken in accordance with the agreed standards. Complete regular status reports. Attended regular team status meetings

Qualifications and Skills:

Working level and intellectual capacity.

Working experience in similar roles. Thorough Wintel and Microsoft knowledge and other platform knowledge. Personality: accountable for your work, team player, can do attitude, assertive, sound developed analytical and intellectual capacity, excellent communications skills. Initiative, flexibility, the ability to set priorities. Excellent report and technical document writing.

Expert knowledge of networking systems: LAN/WAN/MAN networking, IP routing and switching, network management protocols and products, Wireless LAN technologies, MPLS, VPN, AAA, TACAS, Radius, monitoring tools, network addressing, Voice Over IP, with a focus on products from Cisco, Juniper and HP equipment, and management tools from Cisco and HP

Broad base of infrastructure skills: Domain architecture, server configurations, file and print services. Central infrastructure services; domain authentication, directory services, software management and applications (Messaging, Intranet, Database etc.) Server build and configuration facilities. Design and development of the workstation components for the client. Ensure that the components developed are consistent with the design. Development of work packages to ensure the required components are identified and ensure they can be developed in a consistent manner according to design, development and lab standards

Good foundation in storage technologies, especially EMC Strong soft skills including an understanding of common project management techniques, customer-facing presentation skills, and experience in writing customer-facing proposals Additional specific qualification and skill requirements: Industry technical certifications of CCDP/CCDE and MCSE Bachelors degree or higher in it related discipline Arabic language skills not required but an advantage
