Our client is looking for MOLECULAR BIOLOGIST / RESEARCH BIOLOGIST for Delhi, Mumbai & Middle East location

Intensive work experience on modern molecular biology and cell biological techniques.

Microbiological techniques:

• Pure culture of bacteria, yeast and mold.
• Staining of bacteria, yeast, endospore, capsule etc.
• Different biochemical tests for bacteria
• Antibiotic sensitivity tests (paper disc and MIC method)
• Enrichment culture technique
• Microbiological examination of water, food etc.

Biochemical techniques :

• Determination of specific activity, Km and Vmax of enzyme
• Effect of temperature, pH and inhibitor on enzyme activity
• Paper chromatography, thin layer and column chromatography
• Estimation of DNA, RNA, Protein.
• Estimation of blood glucose, creatinine, urea, uric acid, cholesterol etc.
• Fluorescence energy transfer
• Fluorescence quenching

Molecular and cell biological techniques:

• Gel electrophoresis of DNA,RNA and protein
• Southern and western blotting
• All types of PCR
• Transformation and transfection of gene
• Site directed mutagenesis

Pre-requisites

• M.Sc. in Microbiology
• Experience of 3 - 4 years in R&D.
