Expected Skills:

• Min 5 years experience within Telco Industry in the Voice domain
• Expected Areas of Telco expertise include: Analogue (EWSD, HICOM, Payment Gateway PGW, International Gateway IGW), IP IGW, Nortel Peregrine & Raven
• Excellent knowledge of Security concepts, methodologies and frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 18028-2) applicable to Telco
• Should be CISSP certified minimum, CISM, CISA, SANS certifications will be a +
• Should have design, implementation and systems integration proven track record
• Should demonstrate leadership and ownership of the stream
• Should be flexible and should demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Should be very organized and report on regular basis to his management
• Problem solving and troubleshooting experience is a must

Requirements:

• Customer infrastructure to assess:

  1. Assessment for existing analogue platforms: EWSD, IGW, for that we need expert on MGCP, SIP and SS7
  2. Assessment for existing IP voice platforms: HIPCC, BVSM, for that we need expert on Voice over IP
  3. Assessment for the new Nortel solution: Raven Peregrine, for that we need expert on Nortel solution and SBC

• The expected activities include the followings:

  • Activity 1. Construct data collection and interviews templates if appropriate
  • Activity 2. Collect all required data, and proceed with all interviews to perform his assessment
  • Activity 3. Interact with the customer and HP team on regular basis to ensure alignment in expectations and to provide coaching and guidance. The consultant will report on regular basis to HP Project Management Office.
  • Activity 4. Provide and get the customer signoff of the Risk. Register report containing (but not limited to):
  • Risk registry update based on specific threats and best practices
  • The Risk mitigation strategies
  • Activity 5. Provide a Functional Specifications report containing (but not limited to):
  • All collected data along with a comprehensive table of contents
  • Current infrastructure diagrams and interactions with other infrastructure areas with all appropriate explanations
  • Business requirements and Functional specifications for the recommended solutions to mitigate the identified risks (including recommended technologies)
  • Provide a future state functional diagram inclusive of all suggested technologies and/or Security Functions
  • Activity 6. The consultant will be responsible to get the customer acceptance of the Functional Specifications for the recommended solutions and will be required to interact with the customer and stakeholders until expectations are met.
