A leading automobile trading company based in Japan is looking for an IT Manager for its Pakistan Office in Karachi.

PROFILE OF THE JOB

The IT Manager is expected to manage a team of IT professionals along with the responsibilities associated with the job role.

He is likely to run an effective and efficient operation using latest information technology trends, techniques and practices.

The incumbent is required to have a blended exposure of Network Administration, Database Management and Software Development with an authority on subject to deliver a leadership role to the team of IT professionals.

The IT Manager must possess a wide range of experience in troubleshooting of network and databases issues, codes software and programs in order to find the faults and errors for smooth running of an operation.

He should be able to design programs that can be executed in a manner to suit the business needs.

Education:

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

Experience:

• At least ten (10) years experience in IT environment, along with six 6 to 7 years managerial exposure.
• Experience in the Development of Desktop Applications, Website, ERP, CRM, BI and Mobile Applications.
• Experience in Database Management.

Skills Required

Risk identification skills:

• Must have extremely good analytical as well as Risk Identification Skills.

Technical skills:

• Software Development, Network Administration, Database Management Skills and an Internet Savvy

Managerial skills:

• Being able to get the work done from the team members, can monitor individual/team performance, can demonstrate working knowledge and expertise, a team player and a team builder, having good decision making skills and an ability to conduct and evaluate assign tasked

People skills:

• Have high level of integrity and leadership values; possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of personnel to convey information and ideas effectively.
