University degree in instrument & control or electrical engineering.

With minimum 10-15 years of experience in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical, Fertilizer industry.

The candidate is required to have an extensive experience in instrumentation and control systems maintenance especially in Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas plants.

The nature of the job requires an experience in the materials and spare parts.

The candidate need to define the recommended spare parts and the quantities that need to be ordered based in his maintenance experience and the nature of the part failure frequency.

Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, standards with respects to spare parts cataloguing.

Should be familiar with materials cataloging tool.

Demonstrable experience in a similar role and the ability to work in a broad multi-cultural environment are essential.

Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English with an excellent understanding of standard office desktop software

Issuing, processing and follow up of the following documents:

• Review of recommended spare parts (SPIR format) and engineering data/drawings/datasheets.
• Follow up the delivery of spare parts.
• Inspection of received materials.
• Coordinates with EPC/PMT and maintenance personnel to evaluate materials/ spare parts requirements.
• Carry out technical reviews for recommended spare parts by referring supporting documentation.
• Finalizes required quantities of spare parts based on recommendation from manufacturer/vendors and prepares Quantity vs. Cost justifications as required.
• Identifies additional materials / spare parts required keeping in view run and maintain requirements.
• Carry out inspection for incoming material and spare parts bought during project stage.
• Coordinate OSDR (Overage Shortage Damage Rejection) items and arrange for replacement or cost reimbursement.
• Performs other associated duties as advised by his superintendent.
