VAMSYSTEMS is currently looking for Information System Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill Set required:

Specific Requirements

• The candidate should have taken a lead role in the upgrade, maintenance and administration of Oracle databases and Oracle Weblogic application server. Similar experience of Oracle UIM environments would be a distinct advantage.
• Should possess at least 4 years hands-on experience of Oracle database administration, particularly the use of core aspects such as databases configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, problem diagnosis and correction.
• Should be experienced in administration of Oracle RDBMS Versions 9i and higher.
• Should be experienced in administration of Inventory (Service/Network/Physical/ Logical) environment (Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) communication suite, particularly environment consisting of Service Inventory, Network Inventory, Number and IP Address Management, Oracle Network Discovery and Integrity Suites.
• Must have at least 8 years experience in IT, ideally in a corporate environment and should understand and use appropriate processes with approaches that maintain very high levels of system availability ensuring consistent performance.
• A proven track record of managing IS projects or parts thereof.

General Requirements:

• The candidate is expected to have a degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Must have completed formal Oracle training, ideally at Version 10g.
• Must have completed formal UNIX training, ideally Sun Solaris 10.
• Oracle RDBMS or SAP R/3 certification.
