Health, Safety and Environmental Planning and Management Engineer required in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

• Capable of preparing site specific Health, Safety and Environment Plan and its Implementation.
• Capable to review submitted health, safety and Environment plans by subcontractors.
• Responsible to HSE
• Manage/Project for the monitoring of Health, Safety and Environmental matters related to the construction.
• Advise and assist management for fulfilling of safety obligations & setting goals for safety.
• Capable to train company employees as well as hired work force along with site.
• Conduct fire mock drill and HSE induction.
• Management in Health and Safety control techniques.
• Risk Assessment for all working operations & practices.
• Analyze Incident & Accident and suggest recommended controls to avoid recurrence of the same.
• Prepare & submit monthly safety statistics reports / Inspection Reports.
• Check and Ensure compliance of site work force with the approved Safe System of working.
• Inspection of machinery and equipments like Mobile Crane, lifting tools & tackles.
• Inspection of Safety equipments and Fire Fighting equipments.
• Design & conduct various safety trainings.
• Ensure that the electrical lock out and tag out procedure must be followed.
• Closely monitor scaffold Erection / Dismantling work, Confined Space Requirements, Crane work, Lifting operation, hot works and Equipment Energization.
• Ensure that healthful work conditions are maintained.
• Responsible for effective implementation of the project safety programme and other safety requirements of UAE legislation, consultant and other concerned Authorities.

Qualification: Diploma In Engineering

Specific Skills: Ensure the compliance of ISO-14001 and OSHAS-18001and its documentation
