One of our Clients is looking for General Manager-IS Audit for the following role.

Professional Qualification/Experience:

• MS in Computer Science, IT, Telecom Engineering with additional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM. etc.
• 10 years of post qualification experience, at least 5 years at Senior Management position in IS Auditing / Control or IT.
• Ability to lead IS Audit department with strong leadership, management & interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid strategic thinking approach, business risk awareness and appropriate judgment to use a risk-based approach in planning the audit focus.
• Broad working knowledge of technology platforms including: mainframe, midrange, client-server, LAN/WAN and web-enabled platforms; as well as processes including: information security, database management; software development and quality assurance methodologies; business continuity/disaster recovery planning; and telecommunications. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of ERP / SAP system, Business Intelligence reporting tools - Business Objects, Brio, Crystal Reports, COGNOS and Micro Strategy.
• Exposure to OS platforms like Windows Server, Unix and Sun Solaris.
• Telecom billing systems / Switches & platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SOX and Control frameworks including COBIT, COSO, COCO etc.
• Working knowledge of automated IT audit tools, including data mining/analysis tools (e.g., ACL, SQL etc).
• Effective at dealing with Senior Management in stressful situations.

Professional Experience & Job Responsibility:

• Identify important IT areas for audit coverage, evaluate their significance, and assess the degree of general & specific IT risk.
• Prepare risk based annual IS Audit plan, for incorporation into Annual Audit Plan of Internal Audit Department.
• Implement annual IS Audit plans, handle IS Audits, special investigations, generate processes to ensure business continuity, handle disaster scenarios, ensure global compliance patterns on IT controls, testing, IT security.
• Directing and supervising the audit teams for effective, efficient and timely completion of audit assignments.
• Review of draft audit reports received from IS Audit parties.
• Issuance of instructions and guidelines to audit parties for improvement of audit reports.
• To issue draft audit reports after discussion with auditee and in coordination with Head Office.
• Prepare periodic reports/returns for management.
• Follow up of all previous reports ensuring implementation of audit recommendations.
