Finance Manager Required (Malaysia)

Our client is a private healthcare facility located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It is a futuristically designed 300 bed centre with revolutionary facilities and high standards of patient care. The Centres of Excellence offer a wide range of services, solutions and technology that satisfy various needs and conditions. The scope of services includes cosmetology, cardiology, burns treatment, plastic surgery, solutions for wellness for men, women & children treatment and consultancy.

Our client invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position:

Finance Manager:

Job Description:

- Provide the overall financial technical advice and assist the Finance Controller on the management of the Finance Department to ensure the hospital financial matters are being handled in an efficient and effective manner so as to meet the expectations of the hospital’s stakeholders.
- Provide the technical expertise on general accounting to the Finance Department and Finance Controller to ensure a smooth, efficient and effective daily operations of all financial matters of the hospital at all times.
- Review the hospital accounting procedures and systems in a manner that will ensure the hospital meet all the statutory and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Manage the receivable and payable accounts of the hospital in an accurate manner which meets the overall financial requirements and deadlines.
- Review and advise the hospital on the relevant contracts from a financial perspective which meets the needs and requirements of the stakeholders of the hospital.
- Prepare the necessary scheduled financial reports and statements to the relevant stakeholders in a manner that will provide a reflective financial standing of the hospital.
- Manage the auditing and taxation processes of the hospital which meets the necessary statutory requirements.
- Coordinate the overall management of hospital fixed assets in a manner that meets the requirement and objectives of the hospital.
- Coordinate with internal and external clients of the hospital in the setting up of the Total Hospital Information System (THIS) to ensure the financial aspect of the hospital is being integrated smoothly and successfully with other operations of the hospitals.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum an accounting degree or professional accounting qualification and a member of the Malaysia Institute of Accounting.
- Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience including 2 – 3 years of experience in audit, with hospital audit environment an advantage.
- Possess high level of integrity, a team player and sensitive to deadlines.
- Organised and able to work long hours.
- Candidate must be willing to work in KL town area and in a hospital environment.
