Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial and business restricting,setting up systems & processes including formulation of Policies & Procedures, revamping working capital management involving effective credit control management .
- Would be responsible for GAAP accounting, financial systems and processes, budgeting and Tax, MIS reporting, HR corporate secretarial, legal, corporate governance, etc.
- Would be required to identify and report financial transactions of a suspicious nature to the financial intelligence unit.Enhance the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) risk assessment
- The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will, therefore, be to contribute high quality evidence-based policy analysis and advice in the form of written reports, quantitative evidence and presentations to internal and external audiences on these and other emerging policy issues.
- The role will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the Corporate Government’s policy.
- Review documentation regarding client’s AML policies & procedures and system configuration. Review and make recommendations for AML risk assessment plan.
- Advice and guide business strategy sessions regarding AML projects
- Provide gap analysis and recommendations for improving client’s AML/BSA enhancement procedures. – He will assist client with business advisement, resourcing, project planning, and execution of strategies.AML project requirements advisement: gathering / documentation
- Knowledge Watch list Mgmt (OFAC, PEP, etc)
Desired Candidate’s Profile:
Key Skills:
- The main qualities that the successful candidate will possess are the ability to think creatively and to work collaboratively within the team and across the office to develop evidence-based policy solutions, a high level of analytical ability, strong drafting skills and the capacity to put forward ideas persuasively to senior colleagues both internally and externally.
- Experience in making financial, HR & policy reports, analyze the same.
- Experience in Money Laundering process of placement, layering & integration Would be an added advantage.
- Enhanced cutting edge knowledge of money laundering trends, techniques and tools employed by criminals and terrorists.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business processes to applicable requirement types (functional, technical, etc)
- Data analysis skills and experience utilizing AML management tools
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) would be an advantage
- Experience in GAAP accounting, financial systems and processes, Budgeting and budgetary control, MIS reporting, corporate secretarial, legal, corporate governance, etc
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Arab Nationals Preferred
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance or statistics.
Masters Degree in Economics, Finance or a finance related subject It would be highly desirable for the financial advisor to have one of the following certifications:
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
Experience:
- 8 – 12 years.
