Work Package title:

1 - Reports to: SPMO Director.

2 – Qualification:

The Construction Manager will coordinate with the Construction Contractor(s) and perform oversight of the work. To successfully perform his/her duties, the individual needs to be: - Experienced in large construction projects, Nuclear Power Generation or Industrial Projects. - Experienced in Field Construction Engineering. - Proficient in written and spoken English. - BS Engineering Degree or equivalent. - 15 years experience.

4 - RELATED TRAINING: Primavera.

5 - Function:

• Monitors construction interface activities
• Reviews Construction Contractors temporary facilities plans
• Monitors Construction Contractors Safety Management Plans
• Participates in the integration of the NI, CI and BOP schedules.
• Reviews NI heavy lift and transportation plans
• Reviews NI Construction Contractors procedures
• Reviews construction progress
• Provides oversight for Construction Contractors
• Monitors Field Change processes
• Oversees Construction Contractors work processes and quality control.
• Ensures QA/QC Program and Procedures are being followed
• Manages staff including Area Managers and Completions Manager

6 - JOB STARTING DATE: ATP + 6 months.

7 - JOB DURATION TIME: 69 months.

8 - SELF RELIANCE OBJECTIVE:

Works under the direction of the SPMO Director to ensure that Technology Transfer objectives are being met and that knowledge and experience required to ensure Self Reliance program is successful.
