Commercial Manager (Abu Dhabi)

An expanding Property Development Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals for the position stated below: Commercial Manager.
Qualification: - At least 10 years experience in building construction and financial management. - Degree in Engineering (MRICS, MInstCES or MCIOB status). - Detailed understanding of the construction process, service installation in MEP, contract terminology, terms and conditions and payment processes. - Excellent advising and decision-making skills on methods of resolving contractual issues and final accounts settlement. - Knowledge of projecting forecasts on financial performance on individual contracts, schedules and project cash flow, negotiation and presentation of financial proposals and alternatives to clients. - Must be based in Abu Dhabi.
Duties: - Providing commercial information for preparing, submitting and validating applications for payments. - Coordination and controlling the production of the area budget. - Liaising on and providing necessary data for the preparation of internal financial reports, which include the monthly cost value reconciliation. - Carrying out regular forecast exercises, including monitoring actual expenditures against project and reporting on variances. - Ensuring cost effective negotiation and placing subcontracts in conjunction with procurement management. - Assuming responsibility for commercial and contractual compliance within the area and providing commercial support and contractual advice. - Monitoring contract variations and pricing of proposed changes to the contract. - Coordinating and controlling within the area, and submitting quotations for additional major and minor works.
